My cell phone hit the pavement one too many times and finally broke.
Replacing it was not too expensive or much of a problem.
However, it was only then that I realized that I really didn't remember all of those numbers that were stored in it. I did have a back up - on this computer - but I spent the better part of an hour culling through and saving everything that needed to be transfered.

It's the little things in modern life that really aren't so little after all when you have to get them back.
