It's Raining ... ,

A kind of gentle summer's rain.
With gray skies.
Not always welcome on a Sunday in June.
I looked from my kitchen window at my neighbor's back yard.
The moisture had caused the tree leaves to droop, just enough, and the peaches could be seen.
They are still small, but growing, ripening.
And the nourishing rain is a part of that.

The cycle of life, nature's sweet abundance continues.

And I may just go take a walk in that rain.
... and only wish of course that there was someone to share the journey with.
