Since we seem to be on the subject of things to eat today...

For about the last two weeks, on a near daily basis, we've had wild turkeys wandering across the property. Normally it's two hens, almost a dozen mostly grown chicks, and occasionally a rather large Tom. One morning they even walked in front of the school bus, the driver slowed to avoid them.
The dogs are aware of them and find them rather interesting.
The turkeys are aware of the dogs.
I didn't know a bird that large could move so fast on the ground.
..... and they definitely say, "Silly Dogs" quite loudly while they're at it
